End User License Agreement
Effective date: April 12, 2026
The short version: Buy it once, use it as much as you want. YouClip is a perpetual license — one purchase, unlimited use on the Mac it's downloaded to. Don't resell it or reverse-engineer it. That's pretty much it.
Agreement
This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and Eight Alpha Charlie, Corp ("Company", "we", "us") for the use of YouClip ("Application"), a native macOS software application. By downloading, installing, or using YouClip, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.
License grant
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use YouClip on the Mac it is downloaded to. Use it as much as you want, for as long as you want.
One-time purchase
YouClip is sold as a one-time purchase. There are no subscription fees, recurring charges, or hidden costs. Your purchase grants you a perpetual license to use the version of YouClip you purchased, including minor updates released at our discretion.
Restrictions
You may not: sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or transfer the Application or your license to any third party; reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Application; use the Application for any unlawful purpose; or remove any proprietary notices or labels from the Application.
Intellectual property
YouClip and all associated intellectual property — including but not limited to the software code, design, graphics, and branding — remain the exclusive property of Eight Alpha Charlie, Corp. This Agreement does not transfer any ownership rights to you.
Your content
You retain full ownership of all videos, clips, and other content you create or process using YouClip. We make no claim to any content you produce with the Application.
Disclaimer of warranties
YouClip is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Application will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of bugs. Use of the Application is at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Eight Alpha Charlie, Corp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use YouClip, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Refunds
Purchases made through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple's refund policy. Please contact Apple directly for refund requests. We do not process refunds independently for App Store purchases.
Termination
This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this Agreement will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Application and delete all copies from your devices.
Governing law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Changes to this agreement
We reserve the right to update this Agreement at any time. We will post the updated Agreement on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of YouClip after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
